The Aragon Health Research Institute Foundation (IIS Aragon) invites applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher position in group B projects. The role centers on perfusion, organ cannulation, and ex vivo maintenance, with a focus on porcine organ models and established protocols.

Requirements include MD or equivalent, PhD in Biomedical Sciences, and 12+ months of relevant research experience in ex vivo organ perfusion. English and Spanish language proficiency are noted.

Formación

• Official training and certification for the use of laboratory animals (per applicable regulations).
• Additional training in perfusion techniques or experimental surgery is a plus.
• Experience with ex vivo organ perfusion using normothermic systems.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate in cannulation of porcine organs under supervision.
• Assist cannulation and extraction of porcine organs from animal models per protocols.
• Support training in extraction and cannulation of porcine kidneys and livers for staff.
• Perfuse isolated organs (liver, kidney) ex vivo using advanced perfusion machines.
