The Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia (ICIQ) seeks a postdoctoral researcher to join the AHEAD-P project, focusing on developing advanced polymeric materials for mechanoresponsive sensing and solar-driven transformations. The role combines polymer synthesis, materials characterization, automation, and AI-driven discovery in a multidisciplinary Spanish consortium.
You will collaborate with groups led by Prof. José Berrocal and Prof.
Formación
- PhD in Polymer Chemistry or related field with strong publication record.
- Experience in synthetic chemistry and/or polymer synthesis.
- Proven ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and communicate in English.
Responsabilidades
- Design and synthesize functional polymers and polymer-based materials.
- Characterize systems using NMR, SEC/GPC, FTIR, UV–Vis, DSC and related tools.
- Contribute to data-driven research workflows and collaborative projects.
- Support supervision of students and maintain laboratory safety.
