ICIQ seeks a postdoctoral researcher to join the AHEAD-P project, focusing on polymer chemistry, functional materials, and AI-driven discovery. The role involves designing polymers for mechanoresponsive signaling and nanoreactors for solar-driven chemistry, using data‑driven methods and high‑throughput experimentation.

Formación

• PhD in Polymer Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Materials Chemistry, Macromolecular Science, or related fields.
• Experience with synthetic chemistry and/or polymer synthesis and related characterization methods.
• Evidence of scientific productivity through peer‑reviewed publications or equivalent outputs.
• Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Responsabilidades

• Design and synthesize functional organic molecules, polymers, and polymer-based materials.
• Characterize molecular and polymeric systems using a broad range of techniques.
• Develop and optimize functional materials for sensing and energy-related applications.
• Analyze and interpret experimental results and contribute to data-driven workflows.
• Collaborate with researchers from different disciplines and contribute to publications.
• Mentor junior researchers and maintain high laboratory safety standards.
