Job summary
The GravNet-IFAE group at IFAE invites applications for one to two postdoctoral research positions in theoretical developments for searches of high-frequency gravitational waves. The appointments are full-time for two to three years, starting Fall 2027, based at the UAB Campus in Barcelona.
Candidates should have a PhD in Physics or related topics, with experience in theoretical work dealing with BSM or gravitational waves searches in laboratory settings, and familiarity with quantum sensing
Qualifications
- Candidates should have research experience in Theoretical Physics and in searches of BSM physics or gravitational waves in laboratory setups.
- Experience with quantum sensing techniques is particularly welcome.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize theoretical models for GravNet data and detector response.
- Compute sensitivity estimates and explore network configurations for high-frequency gravitational waves.
- Collaborate with GravNet-IFAE group and external collaborators; participate in publications.
