ARQUIMEA Space, Science and Defense in Tenerife seeks a motivated researcher to design, develop and validate biosensing platforms for point-of-care and continuous monitoring. You will work across projects in a dynamic, startup-like R&D environment, contributing to prototypes, testing and data interpretation.

The role requires hands-on biosensor experience, strong English, excellent technical writing and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external partners, including US

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Biomedical Engineering with Ph.D. in biosensing or related field.
• Early-career Ph.D. (<3 years post-PhD) with biosensing/medical devices research.
• Strong written and oral communication; skilled in producing high-quality technical documentation.
• Fluent in English.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and validate biosensing platforms including point-of-care devices.
• Prototype sensors, perform testing and performance characterization.
• Prepare reports, proposals, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external partners; support US expansion activities.
• Adapt to new projects and uphold good laboratory practices.
