Job summary

The Observational Cosmology and Extragalactic Astrophysics group at ICE-CSIC in Bellaterra, near Barcelona, Spain, invites applications for a postdoctoral researcher to contribute to the scientific exploitation of the Euclid mission.

You will develop the data analysis pipeline for Euclid observables, work on modelling and cosmological inference, and develop simulations; there are opportunities to engage with other surveys such as DESI and Rubin/LSST.

Responsibilities

• Develop the data analysis pipeline for the main Euclid observables (galaxy clustering and weak gravitational lensing)
• Work on their modelling and the overall cosmological inference
• Develop and analyse cosmological simulations
• Opportunity to contribute to other galaxy surveys the group is involved in (DESI, Rubin/LSST) and their combination
