ICN2 – The Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology in Bellaterra, near Barcelona, invites applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Atomic Manipulation and Spectroscopy group. The project focuses on sensing and optoelectronic functionalities of on-surface synthesized nanoporous graphene (NPG) and associated heterostructures integrated into FET devices.

The role involves transferring NPG, fabricating devices and heterostructures, performing micro Raman/PL and transport measurements,

Responsibilities

• Transfer of NPG from the metallic growth substrate to gate dielectrics.
• Fabrication of NPG-based FET devices.
• Fabrication of heterostructures based on NPG and other 2D semiconductors to explore proximity effects.
• Micro Raman/PL and transport measurements.
• Management of the device subunit of the group.
• Supervision of early stage researchers.
