Amaris Consulting is seeking a PLC Lifecycle Engineer to drive the full lifecycle of PLCs across multiple pharmaceutical manufacturing sites. You will onboard, provision and configure PLCs, coordinate firmware updates and change management, and implement cybersecurity controls for OT systems.

The role requires 3–5 years of PLC/industrial automation experience, hands-on PLC platform knowledge (Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider, Beckhoff, SDA/Energchart), and familiarity with Profinet, EtherNet/IP, OPC

Formación

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field.
3–5 years of experience as PLC/Industrial Automation Engineer.
Hands-on PLC platforms: Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider Electric, Beckhoff, SDA/Energchart.
Knowledge of industrial protocols: Profinet, EtherNet/IP, OPC UA, Modbus TCP.
Familiarity with containerized platforms, Kubernetes, Linux and Windows Server.
Experience with monitoring, IAM, vulnerability and backup tools.
Ability to automate tasks with scripting.

Responsabilidades

Manage PLC lifecycle across multiple plants: onboarding, provisioning and config.
Coordinate firmware updates, software releases and change management for PLC environments.
Implement access management, monitoring and cybersecurity controls for PLC/OT systems.
Handle vulnerability management, patching, backup and disaster recovery.
Standardize PLC platforms, templates, and configurations across sites.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation for PLC assets and lifecycle processes.
Collaborate with OT, IT, manufacturing and vendor teams for reliable PLC operations.
