Descripción de la vacante

Signode is seeking a skilled Automation Engineer to develop and modify PLC software for Siemens and Allen-Bradley platforms. You will integrate automation components such as motors, VFDs, and encoders, and support remote troubleshooting and commissioning of systems.

The role requires interfacing PLCs with SCADA systems and willingness to travel to customer sites. An engineering degree or equivalent is expected, with experience in industrial protocols and electrical drawings advantageous.

Formación

Proficient in programming PLCs from Siemens and Allen-Bradley.
Experience integrating PLCs with SCADA and automation hardware.
Able to troubleshoot and commission automation systems remotely.

Responsabilidades

Develop and modify PLC software for automation systems.
Integrate motors, VFDs, and encoders with PLC control.
Support remote troubleshooting and system commissioning.
Interface PLCs with SCADA systems for data and control.
