Boehringer Ingelheim is seeking a Platform Support & Onboarding Engineer to help product teams adopt and leverage our Enterprise Data Platform. You will blend platform consulting, technical support, software development, and stakeholder engagement to guide onboarding and solution design.

You will work on AI-powered onboarding experiences, self-service capabilities, and automation across the platform, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, scalable deployments.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 4-5 years of experience in Software Engineering, Platform Engineering, Technical Consulting, or a similar role.
• Hands-on experience developing applications and services using Python.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, microservices, and system integrations.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Azure.
• Experience with SQL and modern data platforms, ideally within analytics or data engineering environments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, automated deployments, and DevOps practices.
• Experience integrating enterprise applications and tools like Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, identity management platforms.
• Exposure to AI-enabled applications, workflow automation, self-service platforms, or developer productivity solutions.
• Experience in Agile development environments and cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong communication skills and professional proficiency in English.

Responsabilidades

• Act as a key technical contact for onboarding new product delivery teams to the Enterprise Data Platform and support platform adoption.
• Collaborate with product teams, solution architects, and engineering to design and implement solutions using platform capabilities.
• Contribute to architecture reviews and provide recommendations for security and engineering best practices.
• Provide technical support and consultancy, troubleshoot issues, coordinate escalations with platform engineering.
• Contribute to Onboarding Hub and related platform products, delivering new functionality and AI-powered experiences.
• Design and implement integrations with Jira, ServiceNow, Confluence, cloud platforms, and identity management solutions.
• Support software releases and deployments across development, testing, and production environments.
• Identify opportunities to improve user experience and onboarding through automation and AI-assisted solutions.
• Collaborate with platform engineering to share feedback and drive platform improvements.
• Create technical documentation, onboarding materials, and run training sessions for the user community.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Act as a key technical contact for onboarding new product delivery teams to the Enterprise Data Platform, supporting platform adoption and helping teams make effective use of available services
• Collaborate with product teams, solution architects, and engineering teams to design and implement solutions using Enterprise Data Platform capabilities, including cloud services, data platforms, analytics, AI services, CI/CD pipelines, and developer tooling
• Contribute to architecture reviews and provide recommendations to ensure solutions align with platform standards, security requirements, and engineering best practices
• Provide technical support and consultancy to platform users, troubleshooting issues, coordinating escalations where needed, and working with platform engineering teams to support resolution
• Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the Onboarding Hub and related platform products, delivering new functionality, AI-powered experiences, workflow automation, and self-service capabilities
• Design and implement integrations with enterprise systems and services, including Jira, ServiceNow, Confluence, cloud platforms, identity management solutions, and internal data platform services
• Support software releases and deployments across development, testing, and production environments to ensure reliability and smooth adoption of new features
• Identify opportunities to improve user experience and platform adoption through automation, process improvements, AI-assisted solutions, and enhanced onboarding experiences
• Collaborate with platform engineering and development teams to share user feedback and contribute to platform enhancements and product improvements
• Create technical documentation, onboarding materials, and knowledge-sharing content, and support training sessions and enablement activities for the wider user community
