Alan is hiring senior backend/platform engineers in Madrid to own and evolve our data privacy platform. You’ll own the platform, ensure safety and observability, and build self-serve tooling so teams can manage data rules themselves.

You’ll bridge legal, security, data, and product to align requirements and expand coverage as Alan grows into new countries. You’ll experience a hands-on role shipping production-grade code (Python/TypeScript) and shaping the data lifecycle at scale, with a strong

Formación

• Senior/staff-level backend or platform engineering, hiring at E level or above.
• Experience building and operating platforms, libraries, or services used by other engineers.
• Comfort working across many teams and aligning legal, security, data, and product.
• Shoots for pragmatic, safe, and scalable data handling solutions.
• Fluency in English is required.

Responsabilidades

• Own and run the platform, safety mechanisms, and production health.
• Build the paved road with docs, templates, and self-serve tooling for data rules.
• Bridge across areas to align requirements from legal, security, data, and product.
• Grow the surface by expanding data rule coverage to new data stores and partners.
