Job summary

Client Server Limited is seeking a Platform Engineer to design and deliver modern internal platforms enabling developers with governance, security and reliability.

Based in Madrid on a full‑time, onsite basis, you will build scalable platform capabilities using Docker, Kubernetes, GitOps, CI/CD, and Azure, while championing best practices and exploring AI-assisted tooling to boost productivity.

Qualifications

• Strong Python development skills and cloud-native experience.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, GitOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Fluent English and ability to communicate with stakeholders.
• Understanding of distributed systems and modern internal platforms.

Platform Engineer (Azure) Madrid onsite to €130,000

Are you a Platform Engineer who enjoys building developer platforms that enable engineering teams to move faster while maintaining security, governance and reliability? You could be progressing your career at a technology driven organisation where you'll play a key role in designing and delivering modern internal platforms that empower developers and business users through self-service tooling, automated workflows and cloud-native infrastructure.

As a Platform Engineer you'll design and build scalable platform capabilities that simplify deployments, streamline software delivery and provide a consistent developer experience. Collaborating with engineering and business stakeholders, you'll translate real-world requirements into robust platform solutions, balancing developer autonomy with operational control.

You'll also champion engineering best practices across development teams, helping to improve code quality, testing and delivery processes. As AI continues to transform software development, you'll evaluate and integrate AI assisted and agentic coding tools into engineering workflows, driving measurable improvements in productivity and developer experience.

Location

You’ll be based in Madrid on a fulltime basis (Monday to Friday).

About You

• You have studied at a top 10 university in Spain (or top 200 globally) and have achieved 9.0 and above in Bachillerato and 7.0 and above, gained at a top tier university, MSc or PhD advantageous
• You have a product mindset, treating internal platforms as products and continually improving them based on user feedback
• You have strong systems thinking and understand the complexities of distributed systems and cloud native architectures
• You have strong Python development skills
• You have commercial experience with Docker, Kubernetes, GitOps, CI/CD pipelines and public cloud platforms, Azure preferred
• You enjoy collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and can communicate complex concepts clearly
• You're naturally curious, enjoy solving difficult technical challenges and continually seek to improve how software is built and delivered
• You have fluent English language skills
