Job summary

Wood is recruiting for a Piping Stress Engineer Intern in the Madrid office (Las Rozas). The role offers exposure to upstream, midstream and downstream oil & gas projects and a path to grow in conceptual engineering, pre-FEED, FEED, EPC and PMC activities.

You will work under Senior Engineer supervision on checking documents, piping stress analysis, pipe support design, and delivering quality work on schedule, while developing professionally in a structured program.

Qualifications

• English proficiency demonstrated; strong communication in English.
• Spanish language at native level.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel/Word/Outlook/PowerPoint).
• CAD software knowledge: MicroStation or AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Check engineering documents and drawings under supervision.
• Perform piping stress analysis for non-critical lines under supervision.
• Pipe support design under supervision.
• Ensure deliverables meet time, cost and quality per project schedule.
• Maintain a strong work ethic and adapt to team dynamics.
• Understand workshare elements and how to divide work-scopes.
