Syngenta Seeds seeks a Trait Assessment Technician in El Ejido, Spain. You will support phytopathology research and new variety development by performing laboratory, greenhouse, and growth room operations, contributing to disease-resistant crop advancement.

Work in state-of-the-art facilities, executing trials, data capture, and cross-functional collaboration within an R&D setting. A strong eye for detail and safety-conscious approach are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Agronomy, Agriculture, Plant Science, Crop Production, Plant Health, or related field.
• Around 2–3 years of hands-on laboratory-based plant pathology/phenotyping experience, with disease resistance evaluation and trait scoring.
• Experience in controlled environments (labs, greenhouses, growth chambers).
• Ability to follow detailed protocols, collect observations, and record data accurately.

Responsabilidades

• Execute phytopathology assays following established protocols under guidance of Researchers.
• Perform data collection, trial preparation, inoculum handling, inoculation, and phenotyping of tests.
• Maintain labs, growth rooms, and greenhouses and manage inventory and equipment.
