ICN2 in Barcelona invites applications for a PhD position titled '3D Nanoelectrode-Engineered Flexible Epicortical Brain Probes for In Vivo Recording and Stimulation'. The project combines ICN2's flexible neural probe technology with 3D nanoelectrodes developed at LAAS-CNRS, Toulouse, to explore in vivo neural interfacing.
Ideal candidates have a background in micro/nanotechnology, materials science, bioelectronics, electrical or biomedical engineering, and hands-on experience in
We are looking for a motivated PhD candidate to join an exciting interdisciplinary project at the interface of nanotechnology, flexible bioelectronics and neuroscience.
The project will develop a new generation of flexible epicortical brain probes for in vivo neural recording and stimulation, combining flexible neural probe technologies developed at ICN2, Barcelona, with 3D nanoelectrode technologies from LAAS-CNRS, Université de Toulouse.
We welcome candidates with a background in micro/nanotechnology, materials science, bioelectronics, electrical engineering or biomedical engineering. Experience in microfabrication, cleanroom processing, electrochemical characterization, neural interfaces, cell culture or data analysis would be an asset.
