Job summary

FUNDACIO INSTITUT D'INVESTIGACIO EN CIENCIES DE LA SALUT GERMANS TRIAS I PUJOL is offering a 3-year predoctoral position linked to the VasCraft 2.0 project, focused on developing small-calibre human vascular grafts for arterial bypass.

The successful candidate will pursue a PhD under the supervision of Dr Carolina Gálvez Montón at the ICREC group, within a multidisciplinary research setting at the Germans Trias i Pujol campus.

Qualifications

• University degree in Veterinary Medicine or Medicine; biology/biochemistry/biomedical sciences may be considered.
• Master’s degree providing access to a PhD programme.
• Good command of English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Develop a PhD thesis under supervision of the PI.
• Be integrated into the ICREC Research Group activities and environment.
• Work at the Can Ruti Campus within a multidisciplinary biomedical institute.
