Fundación Biofísica Bizkaia seeks a physicist with knowledge on optics and microscopy, or a neuroscientist with interest in imaging, to join a small, collaborative team in Leioa near Bilbao. The project investigates brain extracellular space using STED and two-photon microscopy in live mouse brain slices, with immunohistochemistry and potential electrophysiology.

Formación

• Physicist with knowledge on optics and microscopy or a neuroscience background with interest in imaging.
• Experience with fluorescence imaging or advanced optical techniques is advantageous.
• Strong motivation to learn and work in a cross-disciplinary team.

Responsabilidades

• Perform hands-on experiments with mice and imaging.
• Read scientific literature and analyze data.
• Present results at lab meetings and conferences.
