Job summary

The University of Extremadura in Spain seeks a candidate for a 2026 FPU predoctoral contract (University Teacher Training Programme) within the Immunophysiology: Stress, Exercise, Ageing and Health group at INUBE.

The contract covers up to 4 years (including up to 12 months of postdoctoral activity) with a minimum gross salary of €25,457 per year and up to €10,000 for tuition and secondments, plus teaching and clinical activity opportunities as defined by the call.

Qualifications

• Degree in Physiotherapy, Medicine, Nursing or Sport Sciences with excellent academic record.
• An official Master’s degree giving access to doctoral studies, or currently enrolled and meeting admission requirements by signing.

Responsibilities

• Complete a doctoral thesis and develop university teaching skills.
• Teaching activity: 90–180 hours over the contract period.
• Possibility of up to 180 hours of clinical activity, subject to call conditions.
