Job summary

Amazon Science is seeking PhD students for internships in Spain. You will own the design and development of end-to-end systems, write technical white papers, and drive production-level projects that will support Amazon Science.

You will work with Amazon scientists to develop solutions, deploy them into production, and design new algorithms or models while experiencing Amazon’s customer-focused culture. Start dates vary; internships last 3–6 months. Remote internships are not offered.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a PhD in computer science, machine learning, engineering, or related fields.
• Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language.
• Speak, write, and read fluently in English.

Responsibilities

• Own the design and development of end-to-end systems.
• Write technical white papers and create roadmaps.
• Drive production-level projects that will support Amazon Science.
