Amazon Spain Services, S.L.U. is seeking Applied Scientists to own the full lifecycle of AI/ML solutions—from problem analysis and science plan design to development, experimentation, and production deployment at Amazon scale.

You will explore ranking, computer vision, and Generative AI to enhance customer experiences globally. Ideal candidates have a PhD and strong hands-on engineering skills, with experience taking ML models from research to production and collaborating across global teams.

Formación

• Experience publishing in top peer‑reviewed venues or patents.
• Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language.
• Experience building ML models or developing algorithms for business applications.
• PhD and experience in Computer Vision, Generative AI, Ranking, Deep Learning, Recommending.
• Systems, Natural Language Processing or related field.

Responsabilidades

• Analyse complex business problems and translate them into well‑defined science plans with milestones.
• Design, develop, and deliver ML/AI models end‑to‑end—from research to production systems at scale.
• Work with state‑of‑the‑art models in computer vision, ranking and Generative AI for new experiences.
• Own major science challenges from ideation to deployment.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams around the world to deliver integrated solutions.
• Influence scientific direction and best practices across the team.
• Maintain high quality standards on deliverables.
• Contribute to advancing the state of the art through publications and knowledge sharing.
