Job summary
ISGlobal in Barcelona seeks a proactive Technician for the International Health Service to coordinate the "Travel Medicine and Health in Mobile Populations" course. You will facilitate sessions, update teaching materials, and support digital tools like Moodle and Canva, working with Education and Learning teams.
Fluent Spanish and high-level English are required; experience in project coordination and digital learning is valued.
Qualifications
- Degree in Medicine
- Minimum 3 years of experience in tropical/imported diseases in clinical care, with teaching experience
- Experience in course coordination, educational design, and digital teaching tools
- Research experience in tropical/imported diseases, migrant health or global health
- Fluent Spanish and English
Responsibilities
- Coordinate all aspects of the course schedule and logistics
- Support instructors in course delivery and student engagement
- Monitor and evaluate course progress and student participation
- Review and update existing materials for online/hybrid delivery
- Work with Moodle spaces and interactive tools, relaying faculty needs
- Liaise with module coordinators on schedules, deadlines and deliverables
- Respond to academic queries and encourage participation
