Amazon is seeking an Inventory Planner for EU Middle Mile Forecasting and Planning. You will drive forecast improvements, coordinate with Tech, and lead end-to-end planning to optimize CX metrics like speed and cost.

You will collaborate across stakeholders, manage multiple forecast projects, and build innovative data-driven solutions to strengthen capacity planning and operational excellence.

Formación

Responsabilidades

• Play a key role in planning and executing weekly, and high volume events Middle Mile Forecast publication ensuring we deliver a plan which optimizes for CX metrics (Speed, Cost, DEA).
• Play a pivotal role in the planning & Tech teams' relationship to ensure we have a strong grip over the volume forecast signal and understanding from Tech how it can improve.
• Deep Dive and understand forecast accuracy misses trends and work with Tech to rollout a fox plan.
• Lead the roadmap of forecast signal improvements based on clear accuracy target, along with the Tech Teams.
• Create innovative solutions using data and analysis to address wider challenges in your organization; liaise with stakeholders across the entire Amazon operations business to implement these solutions
• Take a big-picture approach in your analysis of business operations, create processes for driving improvements across a range of teams and organizations
• Work alongside leadership to establish and prioritize improvement programs, taking the lead in delivering them from start to finish and frequently reporting on the program status
• Challenge the status quo on the outbound transportation and supply chain processes together with partner teams to create an end-to-end aligned forecasting signal

Inventory Planner - EU Middle Mile Forecasting and Planning, Middle Mile Planning & E2E Forecasting

Description
STEP Linehaul Middle Mile team within EU Trans S&OP organization is looking for a customer focused, analytically and technically skilled Inventory Planner/Program Manager to join our team. Within this role, you will be responsible for driving change and improvements across the organization whilst always thinking about the bigger picture. You are pioneering new ways of thinking to deliver our mission for optimized customer speed and delivery accuracy, at the planned cost. Collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders across the business, you will continuously be scoping out new solutions for ambiguous challenges. You will conduct your own research and analysis, always with an eye on the long-term vision of the business and the maximization of our customer experience. A day in the life

You will lead the forecast accuracy improvement roadmap, working hand in hand with Tech. You'll work with a number of teams to navigate challenges as and when situations impact our network. You'll spend time resolving temporary issues and looking at the bigger picture to drive Amazon towards achieving new objectives. This role is both proactive and reactive, and you'll have the opportunity to help forecast and plan for new projects. You will spend time assisting with a plan for a busy period including HVEs.

About the team

The team specializes in running the Aligned Forecast that is vended to Middle Mile and 3P organizations. This signal is the source of truth for capacity planning for both organizations and also key source for all volume planning reactivity systems. The team deep dives forecasting trends and work with Tech to bias correct these trends.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Experience in data analysis
• Experience working with multiple groups of stakeholders
• Experience managing multiple projects, prioritizing, planning, and managing time
• Experience in English-language communication skills, both written and verbal

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in process improvement
• Master's degree in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
