ONG sense ànim de lucre/ONG sin ánimo de lucro in Palma, Mallorca, seeks a committed Social Worker to support its community initiatives and provide direct guidance for service users.

You will coordinate social projects, prepare reports, and work with public administrations and external resources. The role is part-time with a 3-month contract, and salary is 933 EUR gross per month, paid 12 times a year.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or equivalent.
• Minimum 12 months of relevant social intervention experience.
• Catalan language proficiency at B1 or higher.
• Valid A1 driving licence.
• Proficient with office software and Google Workspace.

A non-profit organization based in Palma is seeking a committed Social Worker to support its community initiatives in Mallorca. In this role, you will be part of an organization dedicated to positive social change, providing essential guidance and direct intervention for people using the service, as well as handling the administrative and project management tasks needed to keep social programs running smoothly.

Core responsibilities

• Providing direct attention, guidance, orientation, and regular monitoring for service users.
• Managing, executing, and tracking social projects and public grants or subsidies.
• Drafting administrative documentation, user assessments, and official reports.
• Coordinating effectively with public administrations, social entities, and external community resources across Mallorca.
• Offering active support for the ongoing activities and development initiatives of the association.

What you need to bring to the role

• A recognized university degree in Social Work (Bachelor's degree or equivalent second-cycle university degree).
• At least 12 months of relevant professional experience in social intervention or project tracking.
• Language proficiency in Catalan at a B1 level or higher.
• A valid A1 driving licence.
• Practical experience with office software and the Google Workspace environment (Drive, Docs, Sheets), email correspondence, telematics procedures, and grant documentation handling.

Working conditions and schedule

• Part-time position with working hours from Monday to Friday, between 9:30 AM and 1:30 PM.
• A 3-month temporary employment contract with the option to renew.
• Gross salary distributed across 12 monthly payments, including extra payments (933 €).
• Workplace located in Palma, Mallorca.
