Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC)- BarcelonaTECH is seeking a First Stage Researcher to carry out comprehensive data management and methodological support for an ongoing project. The role involves updating the project platform, managing survey databases with Stata or R, and applying statistical models.

You'll develop indicators and perform literature searches in Web of Science and Scopus, while contributing to systematic reviews and conference organization.

Formación

• Scientific evaluation and critical analysis of innovative models, methodologies and indicators for social impact.
• Estatistics applied to the social sciences.
• Bibliometrics and altmetrics.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain and update the project platform and data collection forms.
• Manage, debug, and analyze survey databases using Stata or R.
• Apply statistical analysis and advanced models (linear regressions and structural equations).
• Develop composite indices and indicators.
• Search and manage scientific literature in Web of Science and Scopus.
• Carry out systematic reviews of the literature.
• Collaborate in the organization of conferences and other project activities.
• Data processing: Extraction, cleaning and analysis of bibliographic metadata.
• Programming and Automation: Bulk data download with R and Python (basic).
