AdventHealth in Oviedo, FL is currently seeking a Paramedic for a full-time day shift. You will provide patient care under physician direction and collaborate with the nursing team, participating in bedside reports and rounds to improve outcomes.

Requirements include a high school diploma, state-paramedic course graduation, active Paramedic license (PARA), BLS, ACLS, and PALS, with 1+ year of field or clinical experience. Benefits start day one and the role offers consistent daytime hours.

Formación

• High School Grad or Equiv [Required]
• Associate in paramedicine [Preferred]
• Graduate of state approved paramedic course [Required]
• 1+ year of experience as a paramedic in the field, a hospital, or in a clinical setting [Required]
• Licensed Paramedic (PARA) [Required]
• Basic Life Support (BLS) [Required]
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) [Required]
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support Cert (PALS) [Required]

Responsabilidades

• Actively participates in bedside shift reports, safety huddles, multidisciplinary patient rounds, and hourly rounding.
• Provides quality patient care under the direction of the Physician and in collaboration with the Registered Nurse.
• Participates in shared decision-making, performance improvement activities, and provides input to committees.
• Accepts accountability for problem-solving issues and works with leaders to resolve clinical issues.
• Documents interventions in a timely manner.
