Amentum seeks a Marine Engineer to support a US Navy program on Diego Garcia. You will design, analyze, and support construction, maintenance and repair of marine vessels and systems, ensuring compliance with standards, safety regulations, and contractual requirements.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Marine Engineering or related field, 4+ years of experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD, Rhino 3D, SOLIDWORKS, and marine automation systems.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of four (4) years of experience in marine engineering or a related field.
• Experience using engineering design software such as AutoCAD, Rhino 3D, SOLIDWORKS, or similar applications.
• Working knowledge of marine automation systems, including HMI and PLC control systems.
• Strong understanding of marine structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering principles.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Must be able to travel internationally and possess a valid passport.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct design, analysis, construction support, maintenance, and repair of marine vessels and systems.
• Develop engineering designs, calculations, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Prepare technical reports, design analyses, and system diagnostics.
• Present concepts and designs to customers and stakeholders.
• Oversee engineering activities during vessel construction, modification, and repair.
