Amentum is seeking a Marine Engineer to support a unique US Navy program on Diego Garcia. The role covers design, analysis, construction support, maintenance and repair of marine vessels and systems, with responsibilities across structural, mechanical and electrical disciplines.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Marine Engineering and at least four years of marine engineering experience, plus proficiency with AutoCAD, Rhino 3D or SOLIDWORKS and knowledge of marine automation systems.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years marine engineering experience.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Rhino 3D, SolidWorks.
• Knowledge of marine automation systems (HMI/PLC).
• Ability to travel internationally with a valid passport.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design, analysis, construction support, maintenance and repair of marine vessels and systems.
• Develop engineering designs, calculations, specifications and documentation.
• Prepare technical reports and system diagnostic documentation.
• Oversee engineering activities during vessel construction and repair.
• Monitor schedules and budgets to ensure timely completion.
• Provide support for preventative and corrective maintenance.
