An international health service company is seeking an Operations Representative who is fluent in both German and English. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing insurance claims and serving as a primary contact for clients. The role requires strong numeracy and communication skills, alongside a relevant Bachelor's degree. The Job

Operations Representative – German + English Speaking

• Process incoming insurance claims (travel, temporary working incapacity), be the first point of contact for clients and policyholders, and manage reporting data to internal and external parties.
• Receive support from people manager, technical experts, and fellow team members.

Daily Tasks

• Assess and process incoming claims based on policy conditions, acting as the hub between medical advisors, claimants, and their HR departments to ensure complete and correct claim handling.
• Manage working‑incapacity overviews for insured organisations, cultivating professional relationships with clients and third parties.
• Enter claim data accurately and report it to the necessary parties, such as finance, client managers, or clients.
• Answer general questions about policy conditions via email and phone in multiple languages.

Skills & Knowledge Needed

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in finance, insurance, communication or equivalent experience.
• Strong numeracy and communication skills.
• Fluent in English and German; additional languages are a bonus.
• Experience with non‑medical claims such as life or travel insurance is a bonus.
• Eager to learn and adaptable.
• Customer‑centric, responsible, results‑oriented and analytical.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
