Every day is different as an Operations Engineer Intern. You'll work alongside experienced engineers on real projects that design, build, and improve fulfilment infrastructure across Amazon's large-scale supply chain network. You might spend your morning analysing MHE performance data and developing visualisations to help teams monitor equipment metrics, then spend your afternoon on the warehouse floor supporting the installation and commissioning of new automation equipment. You will collaborate with global teams, interface with stakeholders at all levels, and drive solutions with real operational impact.
Amazon's fulfilment network relies on cutting-edge technology — from robotics and high-speed sortation to conveyance systems and robotic work cells. No matter which team you join, whether it's Project Management, Reliability Maintenance Engineering, Controls, or Infrastructure, part of your role will involve solving complex engineering challenges. You'll design and implement improvements, support process innovation, and contribute to programmes that build technical capability across sites — developing your engineering, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills in a dynamic, international environment.
