N-iX is seeking a Senior Open Text xECM Consultant for a part-time engagement (50 hours per month) focused on maintaining and supporting an OpenText ECM environment, including SAP xECM integrations and related systems. The role emphasizes stability, performance, and proactive issue resolution.

The position offers flexible work arrangements (Office/Remote) with senior-level responsibilities and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure platform reliability and security.

Qualifications

• OpenText Extended ECM for SAP or other ERP systems.
• OpenText Content Server DB Schema.
• OpenText Archive Center.
• OpenText Directory Services / OTDS and SSO.
• OpenText WebReports.
• OpenText REST API / integrations (Search Engine API).

Responsibilities

• Handle incidents escalated by the client’s support team, including restoring services during outages.
• Analyze logs, configurations, integrations, and clustered environment behavior.
• Perform root cause analysis and recommend measures to prevent recurring incidents.
• Investigate performance issues involving databases, SQL queries, and caching mechanisms.
• Participate in platform reviews and provide recommendations on stability, capacity, and security.
• Support upgrade planning, patch deployments, and post-change validation.
• Collaborate with client admins, DBAs, integration teams, and OpenText vendor support.
• Document findings and resolutions, maintain Jira tickets, and communicate progress in meetings.
