Plug And Play is seeking a seasoned open innovation specialist to shape and execute strategies for corporate and public-sector partners. You will lead cross-functional workshops, translate research into actionable plans, and drive adoption of scalable solutions with frequent travel from Valencia.

Collaboration with startups and external partners will be central to delivering measurable impact and growth. Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in open innovation or related fields, hands-on facilitation

Formación

• 3+ years in open innovation, innovation consulting, corporate innovation, product development or related field.
• Hands-on facilitation of ideation sessions, design sprints, or co-creation workshops with senior stakeholders.
• Fluency in English and willingness to travel globally.
• Excellent communication and storytelling for executive audiences.

In this role you will shape and execute open innovation strategies for corporate and public-sector partners, leading cross-functional workshops and roadmaps. You will translate research into actionable plans and drive adoption of solutions at scale, working across global clients from Valencia with frequent travel. You’ll collaborate with startups and external partners to ensure measurable impact and real-world outcomes.

• Optimize innovation processes by integrating best practices in corporate innovation, venture clienting, venture building, and open innovation
• Design and lead workshops to drive ideation, strategy formation, and roadmaps; collaborate with executives, startups, and partners to ensure execution and impact
• Analyze trends and disruptive technologies to inform strategies; translate research into actionable recommendations
• Identify opportunities to expand initiatives and contribute to proposal writing and business development
• Support cross-time-zone collaboration and knowledge sharing within a fast-moving team
• 3+ years in open innovation, innovation consulting, corporate innovation, product development, digital transformation or related field
• Hands-on facilitation of ideation sessions, design sprints, or co-creation workshops with senior stakeholders
• Proficiency in Design Thinking, Lean Startup, and Agile methodologies in real projects
• Ability to translate research insights into actionable strategies
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills for executive audiences
• Entrepreneurial, proactive, and results-driven team player
• Fluency in English and willingness to travel globally
• Experience with startups as solution providers (scouting, assessment, venture clienting) a plus
• Public sector/government innovation experience and AI tool usage for research a plus
• Additional languages such as Spanish, German, French, or Arabic a plus
• University degree; Master’s level preferred as an advantage
