Utopia Design in Barcelona seeks an On-site MEP Engineer to support the construction of a luxury hospitality project in Pedralbes. It is a fully onsite role requiring relocation to the Barcelona region.

You will report to the MEP Manager and collaborate with architects, interior designers, and client representatives to ensure high-quality delivery. English proficiency and strong communication are essential.

Formación

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with a concentration in HVAC or mechanical systems.
• 7–15 years of experience in design consultancy or general contractor.
• Experience on low-rise residential and hospitality projects.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Professional level of English.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical support and guidance to in-house design & QS teams, third party designers, consultants and contractors throughout the design process.
• Assist in the review and evaluation of Electrical/HVAC/Plumbing design to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers and managers to optimise Electrical/HVAC/Plumbing systems integration.
• Timely resolve technical issues and challenges during the design phase.
• Stay updated on industry trends, codes, and regulations related to Electrical/HVAC/Plumbing systems.
• Assist on the management, control and tracking changes and variations in accordance with the corporate routine.
