Botres Global GmbH is seeking a Site Manager to lead the execution phase of renewable energy projects on site in Spain. You will connect engineering, construction teams, subcontractors and project management to ensure safe, efficient, and plan-aligned construction activities.

You will oversee site supervision, coordinate the Spanish project team, monitor progress and quality, manage safety walks, and report to project management.

Formación

• Experience as Site Manager, Construction Manager, Project Manager or similar.
• Strong HSE background including relevant certifications or safety training.
• Experience in industrial plants, plant construction or energy projects.
• Fluent Spanish and English.
• Willingness to travel and spend significant time on project sites.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership.

At Botres, we develop and build renewable energy projects across Europe. As our Site Manager, you will take responsibility for the execution phase of projects and ensure that construction activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and according to plan.

You will be the key person connecting engineering, construction teams, subcontractors and project management.

What to expect in this role?

You make sure that a project is not only built - but built correctly.

Your focus will be on:

• Site supervision during project execution
• Project Management of the Spanish project team
• Monitoring construction progress and quality
• Coordinating contractors, suppliers and internal teams
• Ensuring compliance with HSE regulations and site safety standards
• Conducting site inspections, safety walks and toolbox talks
• Identifying risks and initiating corrective actions
• Supporting commissioning and handover activities
• Reporting progress, issues and HSE topics to project management

What you should bring

Must-have

• Experience as Site Manager, Construction Manager, Project Manager or similar position
• Strong HSE background including relevant HSE certifications or safety training
• Experience in industrial plants, plant construction or energy projects
• Fluent Spanish and English
• Willingness to travel and spend significant time on project sites
• Ability to work independently and take ownership

Nice-to-have

• German language skills
• Experience in technical project management or project management certification
• Experience in biogas, biomethane, wastewater, waste management or renewable energy projects
• Experience during commissioning and start-up phases

Gross annual salary starting from € 50,000. The actual compensation package will depend on qualifications, experience and responsibilities.
