Qualifications

• Native Odia speaker with full command of the script.

• Exact character-level accuracy.
• Systematic application of taxonomy across pages.
• Comfort with unfamiliar layouts like multi-column newspapers and handwritten forms.

Responsibilities

• Source documents: find a publicly accessible Odia PDF with multimodal elements.
• Annotate structure: bound every meaningful region, assign component type and reading order.
• Record relationships: link regions to their parent component (figure/table).
• Transcribe faithfully: reproduce Odia text exactly, flag illegible regions.
