Alstom in Spain seeks an Obsolescence Engineer to ensure long-term reliability of railway products. You will manage obsolescence risks, develop tools and dashboards, and support tender activities with costed, alternative solutions.

You’ll collaborate with engineering, services and project teams to keep fleets operating across lifecycles. You will apply knowledge of SAP, CAD and Power Platform tools, combine analytics with supplier validation, and shape obsolescence strategies that sustain

Formación

• University degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
• Experience in a similar engineering role or product design environment.
• Knowledge of obsolescence management processes.
• Experience with Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI and SharePoint repositories and tables.
• Familiarity with SAP and CAD or other design tools is desirable.
• Advanced Spanish and intermediate English communication skills.
• Strong analytical mindset, autonomy and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Implement and improve obsolescence management strategies within the Services business.
• Develop dashboards, tools, repositories and KPIs for obsolescence management.
• Support creation and maintenance of obsolescence management plans.
• Perform obsolescence risk assessments and monitor parts at risk.
• Validate supplier plans and integrate them into project strategies.
• Manage product structures, BOMs and parts availability reports.
• Support tender activities by proposing alternative technical solutions and costs.
