Mirantis is expanding its Neocloud service offering and seeks an Observability Platform Engineer to design, build, and operate our monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting stack for large-scale, globally distributed infrastructure.

You will own telemetry pipelines, define SLO/SLI frameworks, and collaborate across service delivery and operations to ensure incidents are detected and resolved rapidly. This hands-on role focuses on building visibility and reliability.

Formación

• Design and build observability platform components: metrics, logging, tracing, and alerting for large-scale infra.
• Define telemetry pipelines with high cardinality and volume while managing cost, retention, and query performance.
• Implement SLO/SLI frameworks and alerting strategies to surface signal to on-call engineers.
• Collaborate with service delivery and operations to build visibility for incidents.
• Document architecture, runbooks, and operational practices for long-term maintainability.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and operate observability platform components for large-scale infrastructure environments.
• Build telemetry pipelines handling high cardinality/volume data across fleets with performance considerations.
• Define and implement SLO/SLI and alerting strategies to reduce noise and surface signal.
• Integrate observability tooling with incident management workflows and RCA support.
• Improve detection speed and MTTR across the platform.
• Own reliability, scalability, and security of the observability stack.
• Document architecture and operational practices for maintainability.
