Job summary

Lognext, a leading tech services provider, is seeking a Network Security Expert to join a multinational financial sector client. You will manage production security platforms, firewall and load balancing architectures, and remote access technologies across Campus and Data Centre environments.

The ideal candidate has expert knowledge of network security with strong Python and Ansible automation, experience in Linux RHEL, DNS/DHCP, SNMP, and proxy management, and excellent English (B2).

Qualifications

• Expertise in network security technologies and high-availability environments.
• Hands-on firewall design, build, configuration and HA operations.
• Strong knowledge of load balancing, virtual servers, pools, persistence and iRules.
• Experience with DNS/DHCP, monitoring tools and SNMP alert configuration.
• Proficient in proxy management, architecture, design and policy management.
• Understanding of remote access platforms and remote gateway technologies.

Responsibilities

• Manage production, monitoring and engineering of network security platforms across Campus and Data Centre environments.
• Operate and support firewall, load balancing, DNS/DHCP, Internet access, proxy and remote access technologies.
• Provide troubleshooting and incident management including on-call coverage for Data Centre environments.
• Manage and implement technical changes following established change processes.
• Monitor service capacity to ensure networks meet business demand.
• Develop automation tooling with Python and Ansible to streamline tasks and improve integration with teams.
• Maintain communication with central teams regarding architecture and escalations.
