Job summary

MatchPoint Solutions is seeking a Senior Network Security Engineer for a 100% remote role. You will monitor security events, respond to incidents, and tune security tooling to support clients across various industries.

Candidates should have strong SOC experience, scripting for monitoring/alerting, and familiarity with AWS workflows, CI/CD, and GitHub in modern security operations. This role offers international remote work with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Experience in a SOC role with monitoring, alerting and IR.
• Ability to build monitoring/alerting scripts and playbooks.
• Available to support incident response and investigations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security events and alerts across networks and cloud.
• Lead IR actions and coordinate with teams during incidents.
• Maintain and tune SIEM/SOAR tooling for effective detection.

Senior Network Security Engineer

Location: 100% Remote

Hours: 8- 5 PM in Estonia. Time zone in Estonia (7 hours AHEAD of us on the East Coast)

Openings: 2–3

Network and cloud security pros experienced with:

• Operating and configuring security tooling (see below) AND
• Have experience in a SOC role - strong emphasis on monitoring/alerting/IR
• Build monitoring/alerting scripts
• Be available to support response and investigation should a serious incident arise.

Specific technologies:

• SIEM/SOAR (stack is Wazuh/The Hive)
• Cisco AnyConnect
• GWS (DLP and monitoring)
• Working knowledge of AWS cloud engineering workflows
• Working knowledge of the modern CI/CD / Github
