Westinghouse Electric Company in Spain seeks a NDT Training Senior Engineer to coordinate training, qualification and recertification for inspection and testing activities in compliance with ASME CP-189 and CP-105. This is a full-time role located at our San Sebastián de los Reyes HQ, in a hybrid setup.

You will report to the NDT Training and Resource Planning Manager and will develop, manage and update training programs, materials and examinations.

Formación

• Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years experience with NDT training and certification programs.
• 5+ years experience as an NDT instructor or technical examiner.
• Knowledge of regulated sectors, especially nuclear or aerospace.
• Fluent in English, both speaking and writing.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and coordinate personnel training, qualification, certification, and recertification needs with the operating organizations.
• Coordinate the development, updating and delivery of NDT training programs and associated documentation, including training materials, procedures and examinations.
• Advise the departments on training, examination, qualification, certification and competency maintenance requirements for personnel, following applicable regulatory and customer requirements.
• Manage NDT personnel qualification, certification and recertification processes, ensuring the proper administration of records, files, evidence and associated documentation.
• Maintain regulatory and technological awareness to ensure the updating of training programs and certification processes.
• Support internal, customer and certification body audits related to personnel competence, qualification and certification.

About The Role

As a NDT Training Senior Engineer you will coordinate the training required to support Westinghouse inspection and testing activities, ensuring compliance with the requirements established by ASME CP-189 and CP-105. This is a full-time job.

You will report to the NDT Training and Resource Planning Manager and be located at our HQ in San Sebastián de los Reyes. This is a hybrid position.

Main Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate personnel training, qualification, certification, and recertification needs with the operating organizations. We determine these needs following internal qualification and certification procedures. Prepare training schedules to anticipate resources, costs, and operational needs.
• Coordinate the development, updating and delivery of NDT training programs and associated documentation, including training materials, procedures and examinations, with the technical support of our specialized organizations.
• Advise the departments on training, examination, qualification, certification and competency maintenance requirements for personnel, following applicable regulatory and customer requirements.
• Manage NDT personnel qualification, certification and recertification processes, ensuring the proper administration of records, files, evidence and associated documentation.
• Maintain regulatory and technological awareness to ensure the updating of training programs and certification processes.
• Support internal, customer and certification body audits related to personnel competence, qualification and certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master's degree in Engineering or an equivalent technical discipline.
• 5+ years of experience with NDT training and certification programs.
• 5+ years of experience as an NDT instructor or technical examiner.
• Knowledge of regulated sectors, especially nuclear or aerospace.
• Knowledge of NDT methods, including UT, VT, ET, MT, PT, RT and other advanced technologies.
• Knowledge of national and international standards applicable to NDT and regulated sectors.
• Competence, quality and technical documentation management systems.
• Knowledge of training and technical assessment methodologies, and competency development.
• Flued in English, both speaking and in writing.
• Valued qualifications:
  • NDT certifications following ANSI/ASNT CP-189.
  • NDT certifications following ISO 9712.
  • ENIQ, PDI or customer-specific qualifications.
  • Experience as an NDT instructor or accredited trainer.
  • Certifications in project management or process improvement.
