Saipem GPSAG is seeking an NDT Engineer for onshore/offshore projects. The role covers NDT from bid phase through project execution, developing procedures and promoting new NDT solutions to ensure high quality and productivity.

The candidate must hold a Level II NDT certification with 5+ years of hands-on oil and gas experience, and be fluent in English. You will support QA/QC and HSE compliance and review subcontractor NDT submissions.

• 5+ years of professional hands-on experience as an NDT Engineer within oil and gas industry.
• Experience with QA/QC and HSE requirements.
• English language skills required.

Responsabilidades

• Follow NDT through all aspects from bid phase when NDT philosophy is set to project execution.
• Promote and support new NDT solutions, techniques and consumables to achieve high quality and productivity.
• Provide technical expertise on all NDT matters on projects.
• Assist and support the NDT Coordinator or project teams on all NDT matters.
• Prepare NDT procedures for assigned project.
• Review clients specifications and scopes of work; examine pipe metallurgy and prepare detailed NDT procedures to maximize productivity while ensuring quality.
• Review Subcontractors Tender Documents and Technical Qualifications.
• Assist QHSE Department on subcontractor assessments/audits.
• Review and approve subcontractors NDT submissions.
• Maintain records for all NDT activities and project NDT files.

Job Description

Mission

• Follow NDT (Non Destructive testing) through all its aspects from bid phase when NDT philosophy has to be set to engineering execution at Project award when procedures have to be qualified, looking at solutions of high quality level and high productivity
• Promote and support new NDT solutions, techniques and consumables to achieve the most competitive and strategic results

Tasks

The Engineer executes the activities within his area of responsibility, ensuring the compliance with the QA/QC and HSE requirements.

Tasks Include

• Provide technical expertise on all NDT matters as required on projects
• Assist and support the NDT Coordinator or the project teams on all NDT matters
• Prepare NDT procedures for assigned project
• Review clients specifications and scopes of work, examine pipe metallurgy and prepare detailed NDT procedures to achieve maximum productivity in accordance with specified quality
• Review Subcontractors Tender Documents And Technical Qualifications
• Assist QHSE Department on subcontractor assessments/audits
• Review and approve subcontractors NDT submissions
• Ensure that records are maintained for all NDT activities to demonstrate achievement of client requirements
• Maintain departmental project NDT files so that information is readily available to other department members
