Happy English Academy in Murcia seeks enthusiastic EFL teachers with Cambridge B1–C2 experience and native-level English. Candidates should hold CELTA/TESOL/TEFL or UK QTS and have at least 2 years of prior teaching, including young learners and exam preparation.

Positions are based in Archena and Ceuti, offering 22 contact hours per week (Monday–Friday) with a full-time contract and potential renewal after the initial term.

Job Summary

JOB SUMMARY We are currently looking for enthusiastic and passionate EFL Teachers with Cambridge B1 to C1 experience to join our team. These job offers call for native-level English speaking teachers with CELTA/TESOL/TEFL or UK (QTS) qualifications and at least 2 years of experience. You must be ready to also teach General English classes to young learners and teenagers from October 5th to the end of June 2027. The contract could be renewed after then. DETAILS OF THE POSITION We are currently looking to hire professional, native-level speaking EFL Teachers who are pro-active and passionate about teaching and available to start on 05/10/2026. We have two locations -Archena and Ceuti - in Murcia. We offer a variety of groups ranging from 3 years old to adults. The school is well-known and well-considered locally, so we need our teachers to help maintain our reputation for offering a high standard of language education and striving to achieve the best possible results. Teaching hours (22 contact hours per week, Monday-Friday) will be made up of young learners/teenage and adult classes. The majority of our students are young learners and teenagers who prepare for Cambridge exams (B1, B2, C1 and C2 levels. For this position, we need teachers with Cambridge exams prep experience for B1 and B2 levels as well as infants and primary levels knowlewdge. Being located in small towns provides multiple benefits including a relaxed family atmosphere with most students and parents already familiar with each other. Additionally, accommodation in the area is considerably cheaper than living in Murcia city and you have the beautiful countryside with mountains and a river available on your doorstep.

Qualifications

• University degree
• CELTA, TESOL, TEFL, or UK (QTS) certificates
• Minimum 2 years prior teaching experience (References must be provided)
• Working with children, teachers must be open, kind and dynamic
• Native-level English speakers
• EU nationals or non-EU nationals with legal right to work in Spain ONLY. Due to Britain leaving the European Union, UK citizens can only work in Spain if they are currently resident and have an TIE identification number.

Unfortunately we are not able to hire teachers who are not from the European Union or hold valid Spanish work permits at this stage. The job needs to be covered soon and therefore there is no time to apply for visas/work permits.
