Airbus Defence And Space seeks a senior Flight Operations Publications lead to own and deliver manuals for the A330 MRTT program. You will guide a team of authors, act as SME on A330 MRTT topics, and coordinate with design, test, and operations to ensure mission readiness and compliance with program directives.

You will drive content governance, manage projects, and engage customers through workshops and service visits while expanding knowledge retention within the organization.

Formación

• Engineering degree or Flight Operations experience.
• At least 3 years in Flight Operations Publications or Support.
• Team management experience in Flight Operations topics.
• Experience as technical author; familiarity with Airbus authoring tools (ADOC, FODM) is a plus.
• Knowledge of Airbus Defence and Space military systems in A330 MRTT.
• Experience in Flight Operations Support deliverables definition and production.
• Advanced Spanish and English; French is a plus.
• Project management skills; customer-oriented mindset.
• Understanding military customer requirements and translating to system functionality.
• Desirable: technical authoring with Airbus GOLD, and definition of FO procedures.

In this role you will own and deliver Flight Operations Manuals for the A330 MRTT program, ensuring high quality content aligned with directives and user needs. You will lead a team of authors and act as SME on A330 MRTT topics, coordinating with stakeholders across design, test, and operations. The position emphasizes hands-on technical writing, content governance, and ongoing support to maintain mission readiness. This is a chance to shape critical flight operation documentation for a key defence programme.

• Function as product owner, guiding technical discussions with the customer and organization
• Lead and coordinate a team of subcontracted authors to develop and maintain manuals
• Serve as principal SME for A330 MRTT+ topics and supervise content
• Control technical configuration and content, including A330 Neo contributions
• Contribute to technical authoring of manuals through revisions (planned and unplanned)
• Support development/validation/verification of aircraft systems content and assist Training Organization
• Assist operational support activities, including responses to service requests and publication notes
• Develop and execute Project Management Plan with scope, quality, timescales and risk management
• Engage with customers via workshops, webinars, and service visits
• Ensure knowledge retention within TASTO and train others when needed
• Manage products at Publications and Operational Support levels with stakeholders
• Coordinate with Design Office, Flight Test, subcontractors and suppliers
• Travel 3-4 times per year as required
• Align deliverables with program directives and end-user expectations
• Contribute to know-how retention and future-proofing of processes
• Engineering degree or Flight Operations experience
