Job summary

Amaris Consulting is seeking an MLOps Engineer to design, implement, and optimize scalable ML platforms in an international setting. You will manage end-to-end ML lifecycles, build cloud infra on AWS, and deploy containerized workloads with Kubernetes.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of MLOps experience, strong Python skills, and fluency in English and Spanish, with a Barcelona-based, 50% hybrid work arrangement. Remote-friendly options are available within national scope.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience designing and implementing MLOps solutions.
• Strong experience with AWS, including cloud infrastructure implementation and management, automation, and security.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Strong experience with Kubernetes, including deployment, cluster management, and automation of containerized applications.
• Experience with MLOps frameworks and orchestration tools such as MLflow, Kubeflow, TFX and/or Apache Airflow.
• Solid understanding of the Machine Learning lifecycle, from experimentation and training to deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
• Strong programming skills, ideally Python, as well as experience with version control and CI/CD practices.
• Knowledge of monitoring and observability practices in ML and cloud environments.
• Fluent English and Spanish, as you will work in an international environment.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Based in or around Barcelona, with availability to work in a 50% hybrid model.
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable MLOps platforms and pipelines.
• Automate the end-to-end Machine Learning lifecycle, including model training, validation, deployment, monitoring, and retraining.
• Build and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Create and maintain infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code best practices.
• Deploy and operate containerized ML workloads using Kubernetes.
• Implement and optimize ML workflows using tools such as MLflow, Kubeflow, TFX and Apache Airflow.
• Develop automation and CI/CD processes to improve the reliability and scalability of ML solutions.
• Monitor infrastructure, pipelines, and ML workloads to ensure performance, stability, and availability.
• Collaborate closely with Machine Learning, Data, Software Engineering and Cloud teams in an international environment.
• Contribute to technical decisions, best practices, and the evolution of the MLOps ecosystem.
• Take on increasing technical ownership, with the potential to evolve towards a Tech Lead / Team Manager position based on performance and fit.
