Syntax, a leading Managed Cloud Provider, seeks a Microsoft Security Specialist to drive Defender, Sentinel, and Purview workshops and advisory engagements for enterprise clients in a global security program. The role blends advisory workshops with hands-on security engineering and deployment tasks.

The candidate will participate in pre-sales activities, design security architectures, and enable onboarding to Syntax MDR/MSIEM services, requiring strong communication and deep Microsoft security

Formación

• 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Security tech (Defender, Sentinel, Purview).
• Experience delivering customer-facing workshops, assessments, or pre-sales engagements.
• Strong understanding of cloud security principles, Zero Trust, and MS security architecture patterns.
• Hands-on experience with Defender for Endpoint / XDR, Sentinel, or Purview.
• Ability to communicate to both technical and leadership audiences.
• Fluency in English (spoken & written).

Responsabilidades

• Deliver Microsoft-funded security workshops (Defender, Sentinel, Purview) with assessments and architectural recommendations.
• Lead customer conversations as a trusted advisor and present security capabilities and roadmaps.
• Support pre-sales activities with Sales and Solution Architects to position Microsoft Security offerings.
• Conduct security environment assessments including identity posture and SIEM architecture.
• Produce customer-facing deliverables: findings reports, diagrams, remediation plans, and modernization recommendations.
• Support onboarding to Syntax Managed Security Services (MDR, MSIEM, Defender-based offerings).
• Assist in designing and deploying Defender, Sentinel, and Purview solutions for onboarding clients.
