ALK Madrid is seeking a Laboratory Technician (Microbiology) to join our team in Madrid, Spain. This permanent, full-time role offers a fixed afternoon shift from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm and reports to the Microbiology Manager. You will work in a global pharmaceutical company focused on quality and patient well-being.

Ideal candidates have a science degree, microbiology experience, GMP/GxP knowledge, and strong data analysis skills. English proficiency is required for written and oral communication.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in sciences or equivalent laboratory qualification.
• At least 1 year of pharma lab quality control experience (microbiology or GxP).
• Good knowledge of GMP regulations, standards and data integrity.
• Experience with environmental and personnel microbiological monitoring in classified rooms.
• Expertise in microbiological testing: sterility, endotoxins, microbial counts.
• Experience with validation of microbiological methods.
• Knowledge of testing utilities: water, steam and compressed gases.
• Proficiency in microbiological data trend analysis.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Responsabilidades

• Plan and supervise daily routine activities.
• Provide technical support to analysts.
• Review and approve microbiological data and results to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Manage laboratory investigations, deviations, CAPAs and changes.
• Participate in equipment calibration and qualification processes.
• Use and manage LIMS and SAP.
