Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Chemistry or equivalent required.
• Proven capacity and experience in microalgae cultivation and maintenance.
• Training and expertise in extraction, separation, characterization and quantification of biomolecules.
• Spectrophotometric and chromatographic techniques familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate microalgae under controlled conditions.
• Monitor physiological and biochemical parameters at lab scale.
• Extract and quantify biomolecules; assist in characterizing project biomolecules.
• Support scale-up to 15 L bioprocesses.
• Participate in data analysis and report preparation.
