Simply.TV in Madrid is seeking a Metadata Ingest Intern to help ensure TV, movie, and series data flows smoothly into our systems. This paid internship offers hands-on work with data pipelines, parsing rules, and scheduling systems while supporting both internal and external stakeholders.

You will implement hardcoding rules, fix and optimize parsers, set up new parsers, monitor data health, and respond to support cases within SLA.

Formación

• Currently enrolled in a degree program with graduation planned no earlier than one year from now.
• Legally authorized to work in Spain as a freelancer (autónomo).
• Availability for a long-term commitment (minimum 6 months) with intention to transition to a full-time role.
• Studying or recently graduated in Data, IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• Fluent written and spoken English and Spanish.

Responsabilidades

• Implement and update hardcoding rules for parsers.
• Fix issues with existing parsers and optimize them for new content sources.
• Set up new parsers for incoming data streams.
• Investigate and resolve internal data complaints.
• Monitor data health and ensure datasets are accurate, complete, and consistent.
• Check schedules for failures and report issues.
• Collaborate with the development team to resolve scheduling problems.
• Optimize how schedules are set up to ensure smooth operations.
• Support Management.
• Respond to customer support cases within SLA times.
• Ensure internal stakeholders receive timely support and issue resolution.
