Scorp, a global mobile technology company, seeks a Merchant Risk & Compliance Manager to oversee regulatory and business risks across payment platforms and ensure strong controls.

You will develop policies, support audits, and coordinate with PSPs and banks to mitigate risk. The role is full-time in Barcelona, with onboarding onsite followed by a hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 days remote). Visa sponsorship is not available.

Formación

• 2-4 years of experience in Compliance, Risk Management, Fraud Prevention, Trust & Safety, or related field.
• Experience with payment service providers (PSPs), especially high-risk providers, is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of risk management and compliance principles.
• Experience handling confidential matters; ability to maintain discretion.

We are looking for a Merchant Risk & Compliance Manager to join our team!

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess operational, regulatory and business risks
• Develop and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and controls
• Conduct risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies
• Support investigations related to fraud, abuse, and policy violations
• Track regulatory developments and help implement necessary changes
• Prepare risk and compliance reports
• Support internal audits and compliance reviews
• Coordinate with banks and payment providers' Compliance and Risk teams

Requirements

• 2-4 years of relevant experience in Compliance, Risk Management, Fraud Prevention, Trust & Safety, or a related field
• Experience in payment service providers (PSPs), especially high-risk payment providers, is highly preferred
• Strong understanding of risk management and compliance principles
• Experience handling confidential matters
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Location & Work Setup

• This is a full-time contract position.
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
• During your first month, you'll work fully onsite to get to know the team, products and systems.
• After onboarding, you'll follow a hybrid model: 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.
