Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine invites a summer intern to join the Computer Vision team, contributing to state-of-the-art AI/ML methods for medical image and video understanding across modalities such as endoscopy, ultrasound, X-ray, skin imaging, and histopathology.

You will design CV models, extract insights from imaging data, and help improve clinical trial efficiency. Start date is 1st March 2027 for a 6-month internship, with mentoring and hands-on experience.

Qualifications

• Ongoing Master’s/PhD in a quantitative discipline (e.g., physics, math, CS, EE).
• Demonstrated experience with computer vision techniques (Transformers, CNNs, RNNs, GANs).
• Proficiency with Python or C++.
• Experience with image/video understanding techniques and foundation models.

Responsabilités

• Contribute to AI/ML methods for medical image and video understanding.
• Design, develop and evaluate CV and multimodal models on imaging and video data.
• Communicate technical results to diverse stakeholders to inform decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to interview and understand clinical needs.
