APM Terminals in Spain is seeking a maintenance engineer to perform preventive and corrective upkeep on port equipment, including Ship-to-Shore Cranes and RTGs. You will troubleshoot faults, program Siemens PLCs, and manage SCADA platforms to ensure safe, reliable operations.

The role requires hands-on experience with industrial electrical systems, Siemens drives, and English reading skills, with a focus on continuous improvement and field maintenance in a multinational setting.

Formación

• Higher Vocational Education in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with industrial electrical and electronic systems, sensors and encoders.
• Hands-on Siemens PLC programming experience and SCADA familiarity.

Responsabilidades

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on port equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair faults on Ship-to-Shore Cranes, RTGs, Reach Stackers, and Straddle Carriers.
• Program, maintain, and modify PLC systems, primarily Siemens.
• Operate and maintain SCADA systems including Siemens and GE platforms.
• Maintain and parameterize Siemens variable frequency drives.
• Interpret and modify electrical schematics and technical documentation.
• Carry out field maintenance activities while ensuring safe operations.
